Our BPSR Clubhouse in Escondido is a supportive, holistic, member-directed, recovery and rehabilitation community where adults living with a mental illness, or a dual-diagnosis, join to enhance their well-being, achieve their aspirations, and experience a sense of dignity, hope and belonging. Our Clubhouse members work side-by-side with staff to manage the Clubhouse and participate in the educational, vocational, wellness and social activities offered in the clubhouse. Every Clubhouse member has the opportunity to learn valuable life skills, seek employment, advance their education, help others and celebrate success.
The goal of the Clubhouse is to empower our members to pursue and expand their talents, skills and knowledge, and to promote independence, responsibility and well-being. Volunteer positions are available to all members. Members of the Clubhouse are responsible for the daily operation of the facility. Membership is open to adults with a chronic mental illness.
Eligibility: Adults 18 years and older who have a diagnosis of a serious mental illness, including individuals who have a co-occurring substance abuse disorder.
