Program Description
The Family Recovery Center (FRC) serves pregnant and parenting women and their children through the age of 10. The clients are provided services regardless of age, ethnicity or economic status. The FRC residential program begins by providing assistant with basic needs, such as food, shelter, clothing and personal supplies. There are four major components of our FRC treatment program: Residential Treatment, Day Treatment, Outpatient Treatment and Transitional Services.
Position Description
- Maintain security procedures for the facility, including searches of belongings and persons.
- Know and support the treatment plan of individual clients as provided by treatment team.
- Interact with residents in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner at all times.
- Collect periodic and random urinalysis samples from clients.
- Facilitate the flow of daily scheduled activities, including meals, treatment, recreational activities, visitation, volunteer activities, etc.
- Provide support and crisis intervention to residential clients when primary counselor is not available.
- Maintain client file documentation as required by evaluation and contractual requirements.
- Oversee residents’ rooms – room searches and checks on cleanliness and hygiene.
- Be appropriate role model to clients at all times.
- Provide administrative support as required.
- Display regular and reliable attendance. Reports to and departs from work on time, as scheduled and accurately reflects all time on time card.
- Successfully functions as a team member.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Experience dealing with people and good interactive skills
- Cultural sensitivity
- Experience in crisis intervention, mediation.
